Our Story

Oatlander Outlaws began in 1996, when a team from Oatlands Primary School entered the Dandenong Basketball Junior Competition for the very first time. What started as one school team has grown into a proud and passionate basketball community.

By 2012, the club had grown too large for Oatlands Primary School and made the move to Timbarra Community Stadium, which remains our home base today.

Over the years, the club has expanded significantly and now boasts over 50 teams competing in the Dandenong Basketball Association. We cater for players from as young as Under 8s through to Under 23s, with a strong focus on developing each athlete—whether they’re just starting out or aiming for a more competitive edge.

We’re proud to have seen many of our players begin their basketball journey with us and go on to achieve great things at higher levels of the sport.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
