The Boys have had a tough season to this date. They have had a few ups and downs with a few big losses and some good wins. The boys have come across a lot of top age teams which has been a challenge for them and trying to adjust. But the boys have shown if we bring our Defensive Game we pretty much win and we are trying to bring it on a consistent level. An example of if we play our Defensive Game and team ball is when we drew with the Top team which haven't lost this season to anyone else in the grade. This season has been a big learning curve for the boys and i'm sure they will come out at the end of the season much better and improve toward the finals. We have been working on a lot of new things which will benefit the boys in the long run.
Keep up the good work boys and bring on the finals!!!!

The Boys had a great season in their first season in Under 14's. After mid season we set some goals for all the players and the team to work on and they got better and better especially towards the finals. We did have some bad games but they boys know if we work as a team we can really play some good basketball. In the Grand final the boys won by 21 points in which was their best game of the season. Would like to thank all the parents and coaches that helped out with the boys last season and hope to continue our great basketball into the new season.

The Boys had a great end to the season by winning all finals to get to the grand final which was a different contrast to what happened during the season as it was tough to win games. They played much better in the finals and got within 5 points of DSD in the grand final which was up there with one of the best games they have played.
On the season the boys struggled, but played some good Basketball throughout the season and since the finals series they know they can take it up with all the top A grade teams. They should learn from what happened last season and in the finals and work on that. The Boys need to improve on being switched on every game and really work on being physical all game and playing better as a team. Also need second and third efforts and rebounding more. This season looking for the boys to play more consistent and play with more confidence and team ball. I know the boys have it in them as it was proved in the finals. Keep up the good work boys and look to continue to improve this season. Would also like to thank Dylan on His Contributions over the last 2 seasons and will be sorely missed. Also would like to Welcome Matt to the team and looking forward to his contributions this season. Shane & Cheryl |
