About Club

Oatlander Outlaws basketball club incorporated is a junior basketball club which prides itself on being family oriented and focused firmly on player enjoyment, we are based in Narre Warren in the City of Casey we cater for both boys and girls ranging in age from under 9 to under 20 years.

We are committed to fostering the development of junior basketball within the City of Casey and create an environment in which children and adults have fun with basketball, to teach basketball rules, skills and strategies to our players, to encourage competitiveness with an emphasis on good sportsmanship, to develop community involvement and appreciation of the importance of constructive and meaningful activities for the youth of the area.

  • Qualified Coaches (Level 1 & 2 Accreditation)
  • Fully Structured code of conduct for players, parents, coaches, spectators & Administrators.
  • New player packs containing all codes of conduct, fee structures, club information
  • Everyone understands expectations
  • Presentation day where players participate in fun games & activities. All junior teams receive a participation trophy or medal.
  • People know who we are, New Uniforms, Polos, Win-cheaters, bags and drink bottles.

Our conduct and attitude reflects that of a “good sport”: humble in victory and gracious in defeat. Across all of our community, we hold others in high esteem, as we ourselves wish to be treated. We respect our parents, coaches, team managers, officials and fellow players.
Development & Teamwork
We strive to better ourselves at every level across the club, focusing on player and team development. We still aim to win but our focus is on development of the player to learn fundamentals. When representing the Outlaws, we are all in it together.
Having Fun!
The emphasis is on having fun and learning to play & enjoy the game of basketball. It is our number one priority! We aim to provide a positive coaching environment which allows the players to have fun and learn at the same time.

Hello to all Club Members in 2018,<br /> To those continuing on from a successful Winter season for the club and especially to new players for summer 2017/18. The club is in good health on and off the court. For the upcoming summer season we have 370+ players and over 43 teams, a strong increase over participation in Winter.
